NJ CAMA - The New Jersey Communications and Marketing Association

Welcome to the Communications, Advertising & Marketing Association!

CAMA is a New Jersey-based organization of communications professionals specializing in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, advertising, media relations, public affairs, investor relations, sales promotion, photography, graphic design, social media, human resources and writing.

I am happy to announce that we are back from hiatus. Truthfully, there was a period time when our leadership thought the association might fall victim, like so many others, to the recent downturn in the economy. However, the results from a recent membership survey told us that you — our members — have a need for CAMA. Accordingly, a new board of directors is ready, with your help, to rebuild our organization to serve you even better.

Over the course of the next several months, the board of directors will create a new strategic plan to guide the association’s future. We will also host some events over the next few months, and relaunch the popular ASTRA Awards in 2010. Please visit regularly our events page for updates.

CAMA has extended our current member’s membership through Dec. 31, 2009. If you’re currently not a member, and would like to attend our 2009 events at member rates, please fill out and return the application on the membership page.

Lastly, I would like to extend an invitation to you to join us in rebuilding CAMA. The commitment is minimal — a few hours of your time each month. Please visit the membership page to learn more about getting involved in one of our committees.
